Byd auto part manufacturers

When sourcing BYD parts, you must prioritize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) compatibility by verifying the exact Part Number against the vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). For EV-specific components like the Blade Battery modules or IGBT power semiconductors, ensure they meet high-voltage insulation standards. For mechanical parts, check for TS16949 certification, which is the global quality management standard for the automotive industry.

To guarantee quality, request Material Test Reports (MTR) and Third-Party Inspection reports (such as SGS or Intertek). Authentic parts should feature clear laser-etched branding and QR codes for traceability. For aftermarket parts, ensure they meet or exceed OEM performance benchmarks, particularly for braking systems (pads/rotors) and suspension components to maintain vehicle safety and handling integrity.

Compliance varies by region: DOT (Department of Transportation) or SAE standards are required for the US, while E-Mark (ECE R10/R100) is mandatory for the European Union, especially for electrical components and lighting. Ensure all rubber and plastic components comply with REACH and RoHS to avoid customs seizures due to hazardous substances.

Parts are categorized into Routine Maintenance (filters, wipers), Collision Repair (bumpers, panels), and High-Tech EV Components (thermal management systems, charging ports). Thermal management parts require strict adherence to coolant specifications to prevent battery overheating. Always ensure that electronic control units (ECUs) are compatible with the latest BYD firmware versions to avoid software conflicts during installation.

The biggest risks include counterfeit goods and shipping damage to fragile components like windshields or sensitive electronics. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and insist on reinforced palletized packaging with moisture-proof vacuum sealing for electronic modules.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume; for example, aim for a 15-20% discount on orders exceeding 500 units. Negotiate for Warranty Terms of at least 12 to 24 months for high-value items like motors or controllers. Requesting a mixed-container (LCL) option can also help reduce inventory pressure while maintaining a wide SKU variety.

Batteries are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. You must ensure the supplier provides a UN38.3 Test Report and an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). For standard parts, Sea Freight (FOB) is most cost-effective for bulk, but for urgent repairs, Air Freight is viable if the supplier is located near major hubs like Shenzhen or Guangzhou to minimize domestic transit time.

Look for Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site inspections. Check their Export Experience specifically in the automotive sector and review their Transaction History. A supplier with a high response rate and Gold Member status is generally more reliable for long-term B2B partnerships.
