Bosch 24v starter manufacturers

When sourcing a 24v starter, you must prioritize Power Output (kW), typically ranging from 4.0kW to 9.0kW for heavy-duty engines. Verify the Number of Teeth on the Drive Gear (e.g., 9, 10, or 11 teeth) and the Flange Diameter to ensure mechanical fit. Additionally, confirm the Rotation Direction (Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise) as installing the wrong type will cause immediate failure.

Professional buyers should demand ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certification from the manufacturer, which is the gold standard for automotive quality management. Ensure the product has undergone Salt Spray Testing (minimum 96 hours) to prevent corrosion and Performance Benchmarking for cold-cranking ability in temperatures as low as -25°C.

High-quality starters utilize 100% Copper Windings rather than copper-clad aluminum to handle high current without overheating. Look for Silver-plated Solenoid Contacts to prevent arcing and High-Performance Planetary Gears that provide better torque-to-weight ratios. Always ask if the Brushes are made of high-graphite content for a longer service life exceeding 30,000 starts.

These starters are primarily designed for Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicles, including long-haul trucks, construction machinery (excavators, loaders), and Marine Engines. They are also critical components for Industrial Generators and large-scale agricultural equipment where high initial torque is required to overcome engine compression.

Implement a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) protocol where a third-party auditor tests a random sample (AQL 2.5/4.0) on a Test Bench to verify voltage drop and solenoid engagement. For first-time orders, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Services to ensure payment is only released upon confirmation of product quality.

Focus negotiations on Warranty Terms (aim for 12–24 months) and Core Charge Policies rather than just the unit price. Request Tiered Pricing based on volume; for example, a 10-15% discount is standard when moving from a sample order to a full container load (FCL). Always clarify if the price includes Neutral Packaging or customized brand boxes.

Starters are heavy and contain magnets; they must be packed in Individual Corrugated Boxes with custom-fit EPE Foam to prevent movement. For sea freight, ensure the use of Desiccant Silica Gel Packs inside the moisture-proof plastic wrapping to prevent oxidation of the metal housing during long-distance transit.

Verify the correct HS Code (typically 851110) to determine accurate import duties in your country. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (CO), which may qualify you for preferential tariff rates under specific Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). Be aware of Anti-Dumping duties that may apply to automotive parts in certain regions like the EU or USA.
