Borewell inspection camera manufacturers

When sourcing for deep wells, prioritize waterproof ratings of IP68 with pressure resistance up to 50 Bar (5Mpa) for depths exceeding 500 meters. The camera head should feature 360-degree pan and 180-degree tilt (PTZ) functionality to inspect casing cracks or blockages thoroughly. Ensure the cable is a high-tensile oxygen-free copper wire or fiberglass with a length counter displayed on the monitor for precise depth measurement.

Look for cameras equipped with Sony CCD or CMOS sensors providing at least 700TVL or 1080P HD resolution. Since borewells are pitch black, the camera must have adjustable high-intensity LED or HID lighting. A 10-inch to 15-inch LCD monitor with DVR recording capabilities and SD card storage is essential for capturing and reviewing footage on-site.

Suppliers should ideally hold ISO 9001 certification for manufacturing consistency. For electronic components, CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications are mandatory for international trade. Ensure the housing is made of 304 or 316 stainless steel to prevent corrosion from mineral-heavy groundwater or acidic soil conditions.

Seek units with built-in 512Hz transmitters (sondes) for easy locating from the surface. An electric winch with automatic cable winding is highly recommended for depths over 300m to reduce labor costs and prevent cable damage. Additionally, text overlay keyboards allow operators to type notes directly onto the video stream during the inspection.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) or a live video demonstration of the specific unit being tested in a pressurized water tank. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass quality verification. Ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty flight cases with custom foam inserts and reinforced wooden crates for sea or air freight.

Negotiate for a spare parts kit (including O-rings, camera glass, and LED covers) to be included in the initial price. For bulk orders, aim for a 15-20% discount or an extension of the standard warranty to 24 months. Ask the supplier to provide OEM branding on the software interface if you are a distributor to increase your brand value.

Borewell cameras often contain lithium batteries, which are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. Confirm that the supplier provides a UN38.3 test report and MSDS to avoid customs delays. For shipping to remote regions, use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms if you lack a local customs broker, or FOB if you have a preferred forwarder experienced in handling precision instruments.
