Beach tennis racket manufacturers

For entry-level markets, Glass Fiber (Fiberglass) is the standard due to its flexibility and lower cost. For professional or high-end markets, Carbon Fiber (3K, 12K, or 18K) or Kevlar is preferred for superior stiffness, durability, and power. The inner core should ideally be EVA Soft Memory Foam, which provides excellent shock absorption and a comfortable 'pop' upon impact.

The surface should feature a Grit or Sand finish to enhance spin control and ball grip. Regarding the hole pattern, a standard 22-hole or 28-hole configuration is common; however, ensure the holes are CNC-drilled to prevent jagged edges that can cause structural cracks. Aerodynamic hole placement reduces wind resistance, which is a key selling point for competitive players.

Ensure the manufacturer complies with ISO 9001 for quality management. For the US market, products must be lead-free and phthalate-free in accordance with CPSIA if marketed to juniors. For the EU, REACH compliance for the chemical composition of the EVA foam and grip overwrap is essential. Additionally, check if the racket dimensions meet the ITF (International Tennis Federation) standard (maximum 50cm length, 26cm width, and 38mm thickness).

A standard adult racket typically weighs between 320g and 350g. The balance point is critical; a Head-Heavy balance (265mm+) provides more power, while a Handle-Heavy or Neutral balance offers better maneuverability. You should request a weight tolerance of ±5g from your supplier to ensure consistency across bulk shipments.

Implement a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on a 'Stress Test.' Ask the inspector to check for frame symmetry and perform a flexibility test to ensure the carbon layers haven't delaminated. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services can provide an extra layer of protection, ensuring payment is only released when quality benchmarks are met.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for customized mold fees (tooling) to be waived if the order exceeds a certain volume (e.g., 500 units). Also, request 2% extra replacement grips or end-caps to be included for free to handle minor after-sales issues without needing returns.

Beach tennis rackets are sensitive to extreme heat and pressure. Insist on individual padded full-cover bags for each racket and use double-walled corrugated export cartons. Ensure the cartons are palletized and shrink-wrapped to prevent moisture ingress during sea freight, which can degrade the EVA foam core.

Before production, ensure your brand logo and graphic designs do not infringe on existing trademarks. Request a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and an IP Protection Clause in your purchase contract on Made-in-China.com to prevent the factory from selling your private label designs to other buyers.
