Bag for shopping manufacturers

For high-durability reusable bags, prioritize Non-woven Polypropylene (NWPP) with a weight of 80-120 GSM or RPET (Recycled PET) for sustainability. If sourcing natural fibers, ensure Canvas or Cotton is at least 8oz to 12oz to handle heavy loads. For heavy-duty grocery applications, look for cross-stitching on handles and piping reinforcement along the edges to prevent tearing.

Ensure products comply with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) regarding lead and phthalate content in dyes and coatings. If the bags are intended for food contact, they must meet FDA or EU Food Grade standards. For eco-friendly claims, verify certifications such as GRS (Global Recycled Standard) for recycled plastics or OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for textiles.

For simple logos (1-3 colors), Silk Screen Printing is the most cost-effective for bulk orders. For complex, full-color photographic designs, Heat Transfer Printing or Lamination (OPP Film) is preferred as it provides a waterproof layer and vibrant finish. Ensure the supplier uses eco-friendly, lead-free inks to meet import safety regulations.

Conduct a Static Load Test by filling the bag with 1.5 times its rated capacity (e.g., 15kg for a standard grocery bag) and hanging it for 24 hours. Check for seam slippage and handle deformation. Additionally, perform a Rub Fastness Test on the printed logo to ensure the ink does not peel or fade when wet.

Always utilize Third-Party Inspection services (like V-Trust or SGS) before final payment. Request a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify that the GSM (grams per square meter) of the fabric matches the approved sample. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone verified on-site factory checks.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 5,000 vs. 20,000 units) and inquire if the supplier can provide free plate-making/tooling for recurring orders. Discuss packaging optimization—vacuum packing or high-compression baling can significantly reduce CBM (Cubic Meters) and lower sea freight costs.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties and Plastic Taxes in your destination country. Many regions (like the EU and parts of the US) have strict bans on single-use plastics; ensure your bags meet the minimum thickness requirements (usually >50 microns) to be classified as 'reusable' and avoid heavy environmental levies.

Use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are held in escrow until shipping documents are verified. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts. Always insist on a Proforma Invoice (PI) that clearly states the material composition, weight, and delivery Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF).
