Aerosol filling machine manufacturers

When evaluating aerosol filling machines, you must prioritize filling accuracy (typically ±1%) and production speed (measured in cans per minute, CPM). Ensure the machine supports the specific valve sizes (e.g., 1 inch) and can diameters relevant to your product line. Look for 3-in-1 monoblock designs that integrate vacuuming, gas filling, and sealing to save space and improve efficiency. Additionally, verify that the sealing diameter and depth are adjustable to accommodate different tinplate or aluminum can specifications.

Due to the pressurized and often flammable nature of propellants (like LPG or DME), the machine must be explosion-proof (EX-rated). Look for pneumatic-driven systems which are inherently safer than electronic systems in hazardous environments. Ensure the equipment complies with CE certification for the European market or UL standards for North America. Furthermore, the contact parts should be made of Stainless Steel 316L to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements, especially for cosmetic or pharmaceutical aerosols.

The choice depends on your projected ROI and labor costs. Semi-automatic machines are cost-effective for startups with low MOQs, requiring manual can placement. However, fully automatic production lines significantly reduce long-term labor costs and human error. Calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including gas consumption efficiency and maintenance intervals. For high-volume exports, an automatic line with a rotary filling system offers the best scalability and unit-cost reduction.

A versatile machine should be compatible with various propellants, including LPG, DME, CO2, Nitrogen, and Compressed Air. If you are using Bag-on-Valve (BoV) technology, ensure the machine is specifically designed for this, as it separates the product from the propellant, which is ideal for high-end skincare or medical sprays. Verify that the sealing gaskets are made of materials like Viton or Teflon to resist chemical degradation from specific propellants.

Always conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to verify the supplier's manufacturing capability. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure your payment is only released after the machine passes pre-shipment inspection. Request a FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) video showing the machine running with your specific cans and valves before it leaves the warehouse.

Focus on the spare parts package and after-sales technical support rather than just the base price. Negotiate for a 12-24 month warranty and the inclusion of critical wear-and-tear parts (like nozzles and O-rings). Ask for volume discounts if you plan to purchase auxiliary equipment like water bath testers or inkjet printers. Clearly define the Incoterms (e.g., CIF or DDP) to avoid unexpected local port charges.

Aerosol machines are precision instruments; ensure the supplier uses vacuum packaging and reinforced wooden crates to prevent rust and mechanical damage during sea freight. Confirm if the supplier provides remote video installation guidance or on-site engineer commissioning. Ensure your facility has the correct air compressor capacity and ventilation systems ready before the machine arrives to avoid costly downtime.
