70cc motorcycle manufacturers

When selecting a 70cc motorcycle, focus on the engine type (typically 4-stroke, air-cooled) for fuel efficiency and longevity. Ensure the displacement is exactly 70cc to 72cc to meet specific category regulations. Check for CDI ignition systems for reliable starting and drum or disc brake configurations depending on your safety requirements. For B2B buyers, the load capacity (minimum 150kg) and fuel tank capacity (usually 5L-9L) are critical metrics for end-user utility.

Compliance is non-negotiable in the automotive sector. You must verify that the supplier holds ISO 9001 for quality management. For specific markets, ensure the products meet EEC/e-Mark standards for Europe, DOT/EPA certifications for the United States, or GCC standards for the Middle East. Additionally, request WMI (World Manufacturer Identifier) codes to ensure the vehicles can be legally registered in the destination country.

Request detailed photos or videos of the frame welding quality and the thickness of the steel tubes. Inquire about the brand of the carburetor (e.g., Keihin or Mikuni clones) and the grade of the tires (look for 4PR or 6PR ratings). A reputable supplier should provide salt spray test reports for chrome parts and vibration test data for the chassis to prove long-term durability in rugged environments.

Most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer extensive OEM services for orders exceeding 20-40 units (one container). This includes custom color schemes, decal/sticker design, and brand logo embossing on the engine crankcase or seat. You can also request upgrades such as LED headlights, remote start alarms, or heavy-duty rear racks to better suit your local market's preferences.

The biggest risks include shipping damage and non-compliance with local road laws. To mitigate these, always insist on SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) or CKD (Completely Knocked Down) packaging with reinforced steel crates to prevent scratches or frame bending. Use third-party inspection services like SGS or Intertek to verify the technical specs before the final balance payment is made.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. For bulk orders, aim for a 10-15% discount compared to sample prices. Standard payment terms are 30% T/T deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L). For new suppliers, consider using secured payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are protected until the goods are shipped.

Motorcycles are classified as dangerous goods (UN3166) if they contain fuel or batteries. Ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Certificate for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods. For maximum cost-efficiency, use 40HQ containers, which can typically hold 100-120 units in SKD format, significantly reducing the per-unit freight cost.

Negotiate a 1-2% free-of-charge (FOC) spare parts allocation (such as cables, bulbs, and filters) with every bulk order. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed parts catalog and guarantees the availability of engine components for at least 5 years. Establishing a clear warranty policy (e.g., 6,000km or 12 months on the engine) is essential for maintaining your brand reputation locally.
