50 hp tractor manufacturers

When selecting a 50 Hp tractor, focus on the engine displacement and torque backup to ensure it can handle heavy-duty tasks. Verify the PTO (Power Take-Off) horsepower, which is typically 85-90% of the engine power, to ensure compatibility with implements like mowers or tillers. Additionally, check the hydraulic lifting capacity (ideally ≥1200 kg for this class) and the transmission type (e.g., 8F+8R or 12F+12R shuttle shift) for operational efficiency.

Compliance depends on the destination market. For the USA, tractors must meet EPA Tier 4 Final standards. For the European Union, Stage V compliance is required. Ensure the manufacturer provides OECD testing reports and CE certification for safety. If sourcing via Made-in-China.com, look for suppliers with ISO 9001 and SGS/TÜV verified status to ensure manufacturing consistency.

4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) is the industry standard for 50 Hp tractors intended for heavy plowing, wet paddy fields, or hilly terrain as it provides superior traction and reduces fuel consumption under load. 2WD is only recommended for light transport, dry-land mowing, or orchard work where maneuverability and lower initial cost are prioritized.

Prioritize designs with a one-piece functional hood for easy access to the air filter, battery, and radiator. Ensure the tractor uses standardized components (like Bosch fuel injection systems or Perkins-style engines) to facilitate local spare parts sourcing. Ask the supplier for a wear-parts list and a 1-2 year warranty on core components (engine and transmission).

The biggest risks include damage during maritime transit and non-compliance with local road safety laws. To mitigate this, insist on Professional CKD/SKD (Completely/Semi Knocked Down) packaging to save on freight costs and prevent rust. Always use Trade Assurance or Letters of Credit (L/C) to secure the transaction until the Bill of Lading is confirmed.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for free spare parts kits (filters, belts, gaskets) for the first 500 hours of operation. For orders exceeding 5 units, request OEM branding (Private Labeling) and a volume discount of 5-10%. Mention you are sourcing through Made-in-China.com to leverage their supplier audit ecosystem for better accountability.

For a single unit, a 20GP container is standard, but for 2-3 units, a 40HQ container is much more economical. Ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty wire lashing and wooden chocks to secure the wheels. If shipping to landlocked regions, confirm the intermodal logistics (sea-to-rail) capabilities of the forwarder.

Request a video factory audit to see their assembly line and testing area. Ask for technical manuals in English and check if they provide video-based technical support. Top-tier suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide online troubleshooting and can ship critical components via international express within 48 hours.
