Wholesale fruit plush toy manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize Crystal Super Soft Velboa or PP cotton filling that is 100% polyester and hypoallergenic. Ensure the outer fabric has a high GSM (Grams per Square Meter) to prevent tearing and ensure a premium tactile feel. For eco-conscious markets, look for RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) materials which are increasingly popular in global sourcing.

For the US market, products must comply with ASTM F963 and CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) standards. For the EU, EN71 (Parts 1, 2, and 3) and the CE Mark are mandatory. It is critical to request a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) from the supplier to ensure the toy is free from lead, phthalates, and small parts that pose choking hazards.

Focus on seam strength (minimum 15 lbs of pull force) and embroidery precision. Check that facial features (eyes, mouths) are securely embroidered rather than using plastic 'safety eyes' if the target audience is infants (under 3 years). Verify colorfastness to ensure dyes do not bleed when exposed to saliva or washing.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com usually offer OEM/ODM services. You should inquire about custom woven labels, hangtags with barcodes, and vacuum packaging to reduce shipping volume. Discuss Pantone color matching for specific fruit designs (e.g., the exact shade of 'Pitaya Pink') to maintain brand consistency.

Always utilize Third-Party Inspection services (such as SGS or V-Trust) before the final payment. Implement a 'Golden Sample' strategy where one signed sample stays with the buyer, one with the supplier, and one with the inspection agency to serve as the quality benchmark for the entire production run.

Since plush toys are high-volume but low-weight, vacuum compression packaging is essential to reduce the CBM (Cubic Meter). For large wholesale orders, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical. If shipping to the US or Europe, consider Matson Integrated Express for a balance between speed and cost compared to traditional air freight.

Avoid paying 100% upfront. The industry standard is a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after the presentation of the Bill of Lading (B/L) or a successful inspection report. Use secure payment channels provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are protected until the supplier meets the agreed-upon shipping milestones.

Ensure the fruit designs are generic or original. Avoid 'copycat' designs that mimic famous animation characters (e.g., Disney or Sanrio styles) to prevent customs seizures or legal action. If you provide your own designs, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the supplier to prevent your unique designs from being sold to other competitors.
