Weighing terminal price manufacturers

When comparing prices, you must look beyond the sticker cost and evaluate the A/D conversion speed (typically 10 to 80 times/second) and internal resolution (e.g., 1/30,000 up to 1/1,000,000). High-precision terminals for laboratory use will command a premium, while standard industrial indicators for floor scales are more budget-friendly. Ensure the terminal supports the necessary communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, or 4-20mA analog outputs for PLC integration.

The operating environment significantly impacts the price. Stainless steel (SS304/SS316) housings with IP68 or IP69K ratings are essential for food processing or chemical industries requiring wash-down capabilities, and these are more expensive than ABS plastic housings used in dry warehouse settings. If your application involves hazardous areas, you must invest in Explosion-proof (Ex-rated) terminals, which carry a significantly higher price point due to specialized safety certifications.

For commercial transactions where goods are sold by weight, the terminal must be Legal-for-Trade. Look for OIML (International Organization of Legal Metrology) R76 certificates or NTEP (National Type Evaluation Program) approval for the US market. Terminals with these certifications undergo rigorous testing for accuracy and stability, justifying a higher price compared to non-certified 'general purpose' indicators.

Yes, many professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You can request specific software features like label printing formats, wireless Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity, or multi-range weighing capabilities. While customization may increase the initial purchase price, it reduces costs associated with manual data entry errors and improves workflow efficiency.

Always request a calibration report and a technical compatibility sheet before shipping. Ensure the terminal's excitation voltage matches your existing load cells (usually 5V or 10V DC). To secure your transaction, use secured payment terms and consider hiring a third-party inspection service to verify the accuracy class and build quality at the factory before the final balance is paid.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Negotiate based on volume tiers; for instance, ordering 50+ units can often reduce the unit price by 15-25%. Ask for spare parts kits (like extra overlays or power adapters) to be included in the price. On Made-in-China.com, you should prioritize Audited Suppliers who can provide transparent breakdown costs for components like the mainboard and display module.

Weighing terminals contain sensitive PCBs and LCD screens. Insist on anti-static packaging and double-walled corrugated boxes with foam inserts. For international shipping to your specific country, clarify the HS Code (typically 842390) to accurately calculate import duties. If shipping by sea, ensure the use of desiccant packs to prevent moisture damage during transit.
