Video greeting brochure manufacturers

When selecting a supplier, prioritize the screen resolution and panel type; for premium results, IPS screens are recommended over TN panels for better viewing angles. Ensure the battery capacity (mAh) aligns with the intended play time, typically 500mAh to 1500mAh for standard brochures. Additionally, verify the internal memory capacity, usually ranging from 128MB to 8GB, to ensure it can accommodate your high-definition video files without compression loss.

Request suppliers to use Grade A brand-new screens rather than refurbished ones to avoid dead pixels. The trigger mechanism (magnetic switch, light sensor, or button) should be tested for at least 1,000 cycles. Furthermore, check the paper stock weight, which should be at least 300gsm to 350gsm to provide sufficient structural support for the electronic components and prevent warping.

Since these products contain lithium batteries and circuit boards, they must comply with CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications for international markets. For shipments to the US, ensure the batteries have UN38.3 and MSDS reports to pass customs and airline safety regulations. Always ask the supplier to provide valid test reports issued by third-party laboratories.

Yes, professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer extensive customization including spot UV, foil stamping, and soft-touch lamination for the cover. Technically, you can request auto-play features, multiple video buttons, and volume control. Ensure the supplier provides a die-line template before you finalize the artwork to ensure perfect alignment with the screen cutout.

Video brochures are classified as dangerous goods (PI967) due to built-in batteries. You should work with freight forwarders experienced in electronics and ensure the supplier uses thick, anti-static pearl cotton packaging to prevent accidental activation during transit. Using the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com can also protect your payment until the goods pass quality inspection.

For custom electronics, MOQs usually start at 50-100 units. To get the best price, negotiate based on total volume over a year rather than a single order. Ask for a breakdown of the BOM (Bill of Materials) to see if costs are being driven by the screen size or memory, and consider standardizing screen sizes (e.g., 5" or 7") to leverage the supplier's existing stock for lower costs.

Always check if the supplier is an Audited Supplier on Made-in-China.com, which indicates their factory has been verified by independent agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Request a pre-production sample (PPS) with your actual video pre-loaded to test software compatibility and speaker clarity before authorizing full-scale production.

The most common pitfall is video format incompatibility. Ensure the supplier's hardware supports standard MP4 (H.264) formats. Another risk is customs intellectual property (IP) checks; ensure you have the rights to the video content and music used to avoid seizure at the border. Always clarify Incoterms (e.g., DAP or DDP) to understand who is responsible for import duties and local taxes.
