Human extension manufacturers

Buyers should focus on the hair source and cuticle integrity. Remy Hair is the gold standard where cuticles are kept intact and aligned in one direction, preventing tangling. Virgin Hair refers to chemically unprocessed hair from a single donor. Be wary of 'Grade 10A/12A' labels as these are not regulated industry standards; instead, request Double Drawn hair to ensure thickness from top to bottom, or Single Drawn for a more natural, tapered look.

Selection depends on the end-user's needs: I-Tip and U-Tip (Keratin) extensions require high-quality Italian keratin glue for a secure, long-lasting bond. Tape-in extensions must use medical-grade American blue tape to ensure water resistance and residue-free removal. For Hair Wefts, look for machine-reinforced double wefting to minimize shedding, or Hand-Tied wefts for an ultra-thin, discreet application.

Ensure the supplier provides a Fumigation/Disinfection Certificate to prove the hair is free from pathogens. For colored hair, verify that the dyes used comply with REACH (EU) or FDA (US) cosmetic standards to ensure they are non-toxic and skin-safe. Additionally, check for ISO 9001 certification to guarantee consistent manufacturing processes.

Request a pH balance test report; hair that has been over-processed with acid baths will feel unnaturally smooth initially but will degrade quickly. High-quality extensions should withstand heat styling up to 180°C and maintain their luster for 6-12 months with proper care. Always ask for a bleaching test sample to see if the hair can reach #613 blonde without breaking.

Perform a Burn Test on samples: human hair turns to ash and smells like burning protein, while synthetic fibers melt into a hard bead and smell like plastic. For bulk orders, utilize third-party inspection services at the supplier's warehouse before final payment to verify the hair ratio (percentage of long hairs vs. short hairs) matches the invoice.

Focus on long-term partnership value rather than just the lowest price. Ask for tiered pricing based on weight (grams) rather than per pack. Request a customized sample kit containing different textures (Body Wave, Straight, Deep Wave) to verify curl retention after washing. Ensure the supplier agrees to Trade Terms that include a clear return policy for quality discrepancies.

Hair extensions are high-value, low-volume goods, making Express Air Shipping (DHL/FedEx/UPS) the most efficient method. Ensure the HS Code (670300 or 670411) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays. Be aware that some countries have strict biosecurity regulations regarding animal/human hair; always ensure the Certificate of Origin and disinfection documents are included in the shipping pouch.

Always use secure payment gateways provided by the platform to protect your funds until delivery is confirmed. For first-time large orders, consider staggered payments: a 30% deposit to start production and the remaining 70% after receiving video proof of the finished goods and a successful pre-shipment inspection report.
