Hanger marker manufacturers

When sourcing hanger markers, prioritize high-quality ABS or PP (Polypropylene) plastic. These materials ensure the markers are durable, colorfast, and resistant to cracking under the pressure of being snapped onto hangers. For premium retail environments, ensure the plastic has a smooth, burr-free finish to prevent snagging delicate fabrics like silk or lace.

Request hot-stamping or high-density silk-screen printing rather than simple inkjet printing. Hot-stamping is particularly effective as it indents the size information into the plastic, making it nearly impossible to rub off during frequent customer handling. Verify that the ink used is non-toxic and eco-friendly, complying with standards like REACH or RoHS.

Hanger markers must have a precise internal diameter to fit specific hook gauges (typically 3mm to 5mm). You should request samples to test the 'snap-on' tension; a good marker should be easy for staff to apply but secure enough not to fall off during transport or browsing. Ensure the supplier offers a full range of international sizing (XXS-XXXL, numeric, or color-coded) to maintain brand consistency.

Yes, especially for children's wear. Ensure the markers meet CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) standards regarding lead content and phthalates. Additionally, because they are small parts, they must be tested for choking hazard safety if intended for use in infant clothing departments.

Color variance is a common risk in plastic injection molding. To avoid this, provide the supplier with specific Pantone Color Codes rather than relying on digital photos. Require a pre-production sample (PPS) for approval and mandate that the bulk production must match the PPS within a Delta E color deviation of <1.0.

Since hanger markers are low-weight but high-volume (volumetric), shipping costs can escalate. For large orders, Sea Freight (LCL) is the most economical. However, for mid-sized replenishment, consider Courier Express (FedEx/DHL) but ask the supplier to use vacuum-sealed packaging to reduce the volume and lower the dimensional weight charges.

Focus on Tiered Pricing. Since the mold cost is fixed, the unit price should drop significantly as volume increases. Aim for a 15-20% discount when moving from 10,000 to 50,000 units. Additionally, negotiate for free customized mold services if your annual order volume exceeds a certain threshold.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are protected until the goods are shipped. Conduct a third-party pre-shipment inspection to verify the quantity and printing quality, as returning defective low-value items internationally is often not cost-effective.
