Glove nitrile price manufacturers

The price is primarily driven by material weight (measured in grams) and thickness (measured in mils). Standard exam-grade gloves typically range from 3.5g to 5.0g, while heavy-duty industrial versions can exceed 6.0g. Additionally, the nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) content percentage affects elasticity and puncture resistance; higher NBR content usually commands a premium price but ensures better protection and lower breakage rates.

Compliance is a major cost factor. For medical use, gloves must meet EN 455 (Europe) or ASTM D6319 (USA) standards. If you are importing for medical purposes, ensure the supplier has CE certification or FDA 510(k) clearance. Gloves certified for chemical resistance (EN ISO 374) or food contact (EU 10/2011) will have higher production and testing costs, reflecting a 10-20% price increase over basic industrial-grade gloves.

Buyers should evaluate the texture (fingertip vs. full-palm textured) for grip performance and the powder-free chlorination process, which reduces skin irritation and eases donning. For high-precision tasks, a beaded cuff is essential to prevent tearing. Requesting a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for each batch ensures that the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level)—typically 1.5 for medical and 2.5-4.0 for industrial—is strictly maintained, preventing costly waste.

Nitrile prices are highly sensitive to raw material costs (Butadiene) and energy prices. B2B buyers should monitor bulk volume tiers; ordering in Full Container Loads (FCL) can reduce the unit price by 15-25% compared to LCL (Less than Container Load). Be wary of prices significantly below the market average, as this often indicates recycled materials or under-weight products that fail safety tests.

The most significant risk is quality inconsistency between samples and bulk production. Some suppliers may provide high-quality samples but use fillers (like calcium carbonate) in the mass order to reduce costs, leading to brittle gloves. To mitigate this, use third-party inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on weight, dimensions, and water-leak tests.

Focus on long-term contract pricing rather than one-off spot buys. Suppliers are more likely to offer stable pricing if you provide a 12-month procurement forecast. Additionally, negotiate payment terms such as 30% deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to protect your cash flow and ensure the supplier fulfills the shipping requirements before receiving full payment.

Nitrile gloves are relatively light but bulky, making ocean freight the most economical choice. Ensure the supplier uses moisture-proof packaging and reinforced outer cartons to prevent crushing during transit. For customs clearance, verify that the HS Code (typically 4015.19) is correctly declared and that all Country of Origin (COO) markings comply with your local import regulations to avoid heavy fines or shipment seizures.

Always conduct transactions through secured channels and verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualification. Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as they have undergone rigorous on-site verification. Avoid transferring funds to private bank accounts; always use the official corporate account listed on the proforma invoice to ensure legal recourse in case of disputes.
